The New Mexico Restaurant Association settles the question of who has the best Red or Green in the first annual New Mexico Chile Cook Off to determine the best Chile cook in the state legislature!

Santa Fe Culinary Academy
4 teams each from the New Mexico House and Senate
The winning chile cook will receive a $1,000.00 scholarship for a student in their district planning to enter the hospitality and tourism field.
The winning team, House or Senate, will receive a traveling trophy to be awarded annually.
We will be serving a variety of delightful appetizers and featuring New Mexico beer and wine for attendees and charging a $25 entry fee. (Legislators are free)
