Food safety is a concern for all consumers. Restaurant customers are more savvy today than ever before and they expect safe, clean food every time they eat out. You owe it to yourself, your employees and your customers to make sure you have the highest level of food safety training in your establishment.  NMRA offers ServSafe® food safety certification for managers as well as employees by certified ServSafe instructors. This training is certified by National Restaurant Association Solutions.

New Food Safety regulations for the State of New Mexico became effective 3/1/2016. The compliance deadline is 3/1/2017.

General Information on NMRA’s ServSafe® food safety training and certification for managers:

PrintThe Management Certification Class
Certification is a key element of developing professionalism in the industry. A certification from National Restaurant Association Solutions requires assessment, including testing, and an evaluation of education and/or experience. Attendees who successfully complete the course and pass the exam will receive a certification from NRA Solutions which is nationally recognized and valid for 5 years. The 8-hour course (including a lunch break) will utilize the ServSafe Manager Book and approved videos.

Course Costs
$125 per person for NMRA Members                  $175 per person for non-members

*applicable NM Gross Receipts Tax will be applied to course costs

Payment and Confirmation Information
You must enroll and remit payment at least 10 business days prior to the class. Cancellations and changes occurring within 5 business days of a scheduled class are subject to a $75 rescheduling fee.
It is recommended that attendees study prior to class. If you have already paid the registration fee, a 7th edition ServSafe Manager Book will be sent by US priority mail to the address listed on your registration form within 2 business days from registration. If you choose to pay later by invoice, please note that the registration is not confirmed until payment is received. A textbook will be sent only upon confirmed payment.
