New Mexico Restaurant Association to Present Social Media Conference
Media Mania will be held September 20 in Albuquerque

(Albuquerque, NM) The New Mexico Restaurant Association is presenting a social media conference for the hospitality industry on September 20, 2011 at the Embassy Suites Albuquerque Hotel and Spa.

“Media Mania” is geared toward busy restaurateurs and others in the hospitality industry who are overwhelmed by social media and internet tools and want to know more about how they can use them to benefit their businesses.

The keynote speaker, Jaime Oikle from RunningRestaurants.com and RestaurantWebGuy.com, will share the “Top Ten Social Media Must Haves for Restaurants”. His presentation will be followed by two panels made up of media experts as well as restaurateurs who are using these tools in their own businesses.

The first panel will be on “Reputation and Branding – using social media tools to maintain your reputation and brand”. The second panel will be on “Marketing and Business Building – using your website, mobile apps, e-mail marketing and other online platforms to market your restaurant”.

NMRA is also giving away 25 FREE 6-month memberships in RunningRestaurants.com to conference attendees. Register by August 29 and be entered in the drawing to win.
