New Mexico Restaurant Association to Present Health Care Act Seminar
Speaker Will Address Strategies to Minimize Financial Implications of the Act

(Albuquerque, NM) The New Mexico Restaurant Association (NMRA) has partnered with Wells Fargo Insurance to present “Affordable Care Act – What It Means for Restaurants” on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Embassy Suites in Albuquerque.

Liliana Salazar, Wells Fargo Insurance Senior Vice President, Compliance Health and Welfare Plans will review various strategies to minimize the financial implications of the ACA on employers and their businesses. Ms. Salazar is an expert in healthcare programs and compliance for large and small businesses. The seminar will also include an overview of the Affordable Care Act and its impact on the restaurant industry as well as provisions of the Act for 2013 and beyond. Employers will be able to determine their status as a small or large employer and how to treat seasonal and part-time employees under the Act.

The seminar is $20 for NMRA members and $35 for non-members. Registration is available on NMRA’s website at: www.nmrestaurants.org.
